The plaintiff, Christine L. Hitzemann, filed this action against the defendants, George M. Adam, M.D., and Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital (Hospital), for medical malpractice under the Nebraska Hospital-Medical Liability Act and for breach of contract. The trial court sustained the defendants' demurrers to the plaintiff's second amended petition and dismissed the plaintiff's cause of action without prejudice.
