After the denial of defendant Harold Ascencio's motion to suppress evidence on the ground that it was the product of an illegal search, the defendant pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine (N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10(a)(1)) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute it (N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5(a)(1) and -5(b)(1)).
