Plaintiff-appellant LB Folding Company, Inc. ("LB") appeals from the trial court's granting of summary judgment in favor of the defendant-appellee, Gergel-Kellem, Inc., d.b.a. Watt Printing ("Watt"). LB claims the court erred in holding that the lapse of LB's security interest in certain machinery operated retroactively, thereby rendering it unperfected as to Watt's pre-lapse purchase of the secured collateral under R.C. 1309.40(B)(1).
