A jury found that appellants Northwest Publishing, Inc., d/b/a Duluth-News Tribune, James V. Gels, Virgil Swing, and Tom Fredrickson defamed respondent Richard J. LeDoux, a city employee, in two news articles and two editorials published in the Duluth News-Tribune.
