FFP Operating Partners, L.P. ("FFP"), appeals the district court's denial of its motion for judgment as a matter of law ("j.m.l.") and, in the alternative, motion for new trial on intentional infliction of emotional distress ("i.i.e.d.") and slander jury verdicts. Concluding that the district court erroneously denied FFP's motion for j.m.l. on the i.i.e.d. claim but correctly denied FFP's motion for j.m.l. on the slander claim, we affirm...
