A jury convicted Defendant Robert Earl Johnson of one count of fraudulent scheme and artifice (hereinafter "fraud"). The trial court sentenced Defendant to concurrent terms of nine years for fraud and four years on an earlier conviction, for which he was on probation at the time he allegedly committed the fraud.
