On September 29, 1993, Carlos R. Sanchez, also known as Roberto Jarvio, was charged in an amended information with two felonies: robbery, a Class II felony, Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-324 (Reissue 1989); and assault in the first degree, a Class III felony, Neb.Rev.
