Defendant Margaret B. Anthony attacked Louise Doty in Doty's carport. Defendant repeatedly struck Doty with a hatchet and tried to choke her, yelling that she would kill Doty for taking defendant's husband. Neighbors heard Doty's cries for help and called the police.
