After Timothy Bailey and Vivian Straw were involved in an automobile accident, Allstate, their insurer, refused coverage, contending that their policy had been canceled effective 4 days earlier. The trial court granted partial summary judgment to Bailey and Straw, finding cancellation ineffective because it did not provide the notice required by statute.
