PER CURIAM.

Defendant appeals as of right from a September 13, 1991, sentence of life imprisonment imposed by the trial court after finding that defendant had violated the terms of his probation. We reverse.

Defendant was charged originally with possession with intent to deliver 650 grams or more of cocaine, MCL 333.7401(2)(a)(i); MSA 14.15(7401)(2) (a)(i). Because this offense was punishable by mandatory life imprisonment, the case was automatically waived...
