GERNON, J.:

Carol Lorraine Vargas appeals from a district court decision in a divorce action. The district court granted Jose R. Vargas a divorce, divided the marital assets, and decided that maintenance awarded to Carol in a separate maintenance decree issued the year before in a different county was no longer justified under the present circumstances.

Carol argues: (1) that the district court had no jurisdiction to modify the property division and maintenance...
