On June 28, 1993, the respondent was convicted, upon a jury verdict, in the County Court, Nassau County, of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree (Penal Law § 170.25), a class D felony, and grand larceny in the second degree (Penal Law § 155.40), a class C felony.
