This case comes to us as a claim for benefits by William Ramsey Jr. ("Ramsey"), under a medical insurance policy terminated by The Colonial Life Insurance Company of America ("Colonial Life"). When Ramsey became paralyzed from the neck down, he was covered as a dependent on a policy issued to his wife's employer, the Moulden Supply Company ("Moulden").
