COLEMAN, Judge.

In this criminal appeal, we hold that an officer's discovery of a pipe that was characteristic of the type used for smoking marijuana found during a consensual weapons "patdown" of the person provided the officer with probable cause to search the individual for marijuana, including looking into his wallet, where the drug might be secreted. Because of the exigency presented by a roadside vehicle stop, the officer was not required to obtain a warrant...
