Appellant filed a five-count complaint in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, charging appellees, his former attorneys, with malpractice, fraud, conversion, and conspiracy, and seeking both substantial damages and an accounting. In November, 1991, the court dismissed the four tort actions for failure to state a claim upon which relief could be granted and referred the claim for accounting to an auditor.
