On the main appeal by plaintiff, we hold that summary judgment dismissing the complaint was warranted for the reasons stated in Matter of Union Indem. Ins. Co. (200 A.D.2d 99 [decided herewith]). The late discovery request two years after joinder of issue did not provide a reason to delay summary judgment (see, Atomergic Chemetals Corp. v Hartford Acc. & Indem. Co., 193 A.D.2d 551
