Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District (Sunnyside Valley) appeals a Court of Appeals decision reversing a judgment in its favor in an action by Sunnyside to recover unpaid drain maintenance expenses from Roza Irrigation District (Roza). The issue on appeal is whether a counterclaim by Roza for the recovery of overpayments between 1980 and 1984 is barred by the doctrine of "account stated".
