Plaintiff appeals as of right from an order granting summary disposition in favor of defendant City of Detroit. We reverse.

Plaintiff purchased property at 1365 W. Eastlawn in the City of Detroit in 1979. The parties agree that plaintiff subsequently became delinquent in his Wayne County property taxes for tax years 1981-84, and City of Detroit property taxes for tax years 1979-84. The property was bid to the State of Michigan at the 1984 tax sale...
