On October 14, 1992, a grand jury indicted Benjamin Valles and Roberto Carrera, along with several other individuals, for conspiracy to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2.
