This action arose as the result of defendant's denial of plaintiff's claim for life insurance benefits upon the death of his wife, who was employed by defendant. Plaintiff sent a series of letters to defendant, claiming life insurance benefits. Defendant responded on January 30, 1986, that plaintiff's wife had not been eligible for life insurance benefits. There is no evidence that plaintiff did anything further...
