BOWMAN, Circuit Judge.

James Wactor and Darlene Wactor appeal the judgment of the trial court1 in this maritime action for neck and back injuries suffered by James Wactor in April 1988, while he served as deckhand on the M/V Phaeton, a towboat working the Mississippi River. We affirm.
