On October 6, 1992, Irvin Floyd McConaghy was indicted for one count of bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a). Trial was set for Monday, December 14, 1992. On Monday, December 7, McConaghy's counsel informed government counsel that McConaghy was considering pleading guilty.
