JACOBSON, Presiding Judge.

Appellants Phoenix Resort Corporation (PRC) and Crescent Holdings, Inc. (CHI, or, collectively, defendants) appeal from judgment in favor of appellees Larry and Dixie Lee Nelson (collectively, plaintiff) for breach of a written employment contract, and from the trial court's denial of defendants' motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, or, in the alternative, motion for a new trial.1
