The State Bar brought a formal complaint against R. John Genins alleging that he violated Standards 4, 31, 45, 61, 63, 65 and 68 of the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia. The special master found and the State Disciplinary Board Review Panel accepted the finding that in 1979 Genins was retained on a one-third contingency fee basis for the collection of debts owed to the client.
