The plaintiffs, Pie Plate, Inc. (Pie Plate), and Frank Devino, appeal from a judgment in favor of the defendant, Texaco, Inc. (Texaco), in their tort action arising out of a gasoline contamination of commercial property in Waterbury. Both plaintiffs assert that the trial court improperly (1) excluded the testimony of an expert witness under Practice Book § 220 (D), and (2) restricted the scope of a witness' testimony.
