The plaintiff appeals following the trial court's denial of his motion to set aside the verdict and for an additur.1 On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the trial court improperly denied his motion because an award for economic damages coupled with an award of zero noneconomic damages is inadequate as a matter of law.
