CLARK, Senior Circuit Judge:

Defendant-appellant Ronnie A. Bell pled guilty to charges of embezzlement, making false statements, mail fraud, and conspiracy to commit these crimes. After his guilty plea but before his sentencing, Bell filed with the district court a motion to dismiss certain counts of the indictment and a motion to withdraw his guilty plea.
