STATEMENT OF THE CASE

The Commission on Judicial Conduct (Commission) found that Respondent, Rita Jett, a Tucson city magistrate, violated Canons 1, 2(A), 2(B), and 3(E) of the Code of Judicial Conduct; rule 81, Arizona Rules of the Supreme Court; and Ariz. Const. Art. 6.1, § 4. Accordingly, the Commission recommends that this court publicly censure and suspend Respondent, without pay, for a period of 60...
