Appellants are nine former air line pilots of now-defunct Eastern Air Lines, Inc. ("Eastern"). They appeal an order dated October 23, 1992 (the "Order") of Chief Judge Burton R. Lifland of the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York, approving a global settlement between the Estate of Eastern, represented by the Trustee for the Estate, Martin Shugrue, Jr., and the Air Line Pilots Association...
