Defendant was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in violation of § 625 of the Vehicle Code, MCL 257.625; MSA 9.2325, on September 24, 1993. On October 7, 1993, the district court sent notice of arraignment, which was then scheduled for October 11, 1993.
