The petitioner appeals from the dismissal of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. He claims on appeal that the habeas court should have found, taking into account several acts of alleged incompetency, that trial counsel denied the petitioner effective assistance of counsel in violation of the sixth and fourteenth amendments to the United States constitution and article first, § 8, of the Connecticut constitution.
