In the prosecution of this fairly uncomplicated and rather straightforward aggravated gun possession case, the trial court improperly admitted evidence of an uncharged crime, that is, an alleged robbery that preceded the arresting officer's pursuit and apprehension of defendant for the crime of which he was convicted, thereby depriving defendant of his right to a fair trial.
