Edward Davis was convicted of possessing a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). He now appeals the district court's enhancement of his sentence under the Armed Career Criminal Act (the "ACCA"), 18 U.S.C. § 924(e). Mr. Davis submits that attempted burglary under Illinois law, which served as a predicate offense for the district court's enhancement of his sentence, is not a "violent felony" as defined in § 924(e)(2)(B...
