This is an action to recover a debt which was discharged in bankruptcy, and to set aside a fraudulent conveyance of a motor vehicle pursuant to Mass. R. Civ. P., Rule 18(b) which is inapplicable in the district court. Despite such seemingly dispositive procedural limitations and after two years of pretrial opposition by the defendants, the plaintiff obtained a judgment by default against defendant Patrick J.
