The defendant, Jake Stone, was charged by information filed in the District Court of the Sixth Judicial District in Park County with two counts of aggravated assault pursuant to § 45-5-202(1), MCA (1991). Following a jury trial, he was found guilty of one count of aggravated assault and one count of felony assault pursuant to § 45-5-202(1) and (2)(a), MCA.
