Defendant, Donald Ward Stevenson, appeals his conviction of rape, a first degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-402 (1990). Defendant argues that his conviction should be overturned because: (1) the State committed prosecutorial misconduct; (2) defendant was not allowed to fully cross-examine or obtain the complete criminal record of a prosecution witness; and (3) the trial court gave the jury a defective instruction on the elements...
