This case arises out of a fraudulent investment scheme perpetrated by Michael S. Douglas ("Douglas") from August 1987 to November 1989. At issue are monetary conveyances made by Douglas, during the pendency of the fraudulent investment scheme, to the defendants, all of which are non-profit corporations. Plaintiff Steven S. Scholes, as Receiver for the defunct investment entities, named sixteen defendants...
