ROSE, Chief Justice:

Appellant Alejandro Jose Castillo (Castillo) was one month shy of his sixteenth birthday when he committed six offenses, each of which would have been a felony if committed by an adult.1 He was charged after he turned sixteen and was certified to stand trial as an adult pursuant to NRS 62.080.
