Appellant Ernest Marvin Carter, Jr., was tried by jury and convicted of the crime of First Degree Murder while in the commission of a robbery pursuant to the felony murder doctrine codified at 21 O.S. 1981, § 701.7, Case No. CRF-90-1012, in the District Court of Oklahoma County.
