On February 3, 1988, the harbor tug M/V SAM LEBLANC (SAM LEBLANC) travelling southbound on the Mississippi River, collided with the tow of the northbound M/V ERGONOT (ERGONOT). Both vessels were traveling in shut out fog in the Baton Rouge Harbor.
