This matter is before the court on the motion for summary judgment filed by the defendant Harco Drugs, Inc. ("Harco"). The plaintiff, Carolyn Williams, alleges that she was fired by the defendant because she is black and because she filed a claim for worker's compensation. Williams has brought claims of discriminatory discharge and retaliatory discharge under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. Section 1981...
