PLOTKIN, Judge.

The defendant, Allen Dabney, was charged with first degree murder of Kristin Bordelon, who was killed in the course of a robbery. LSA-R.S. 14:30(1). A twelve member jury found the defendant guilty of second degree murder, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. His motion for a new trial was denied.
