NORRIS, Judge.

Lanny Ray Walters was indicted for second degree murder. La.R.S. 14:30.1. The jury, by a 10-2 vote, convicted him of manslaughter. La.R.S. 14:31. The trial court sentenced Walters to 21 years at hard labor with credit for time served. Walters appeals his sentence and conviction, urging four assignments of error. For the reasons expressed, we affirm the conviction but vacate the sentence and remand for resentencing...
