This personal injury action stems from a May 3, 1987 automobile accident which occurred on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette. Plaintiff, Patty Black, and her daughter, Regina Abston, were injured when, in attempting a left turn onto Aberdeen Drive, their automobile was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by defendant, Martin Despot.
