STATEMENT OF THE CASE

The defendant-appellants, Anthony Celius (Celius) and Wayne Carr (Carr), were charged by bill of information with three counts of armed robbery, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:64. The defendants entered pleas of not guilty on June 26, 1987. Count one was severed from counts two and three, and trial was held on the last two counts on September 7, 1988.
