The defendant, Norman D. Solomon, was charged by bill of information dated November 25, 1992, with the offense of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967. On December 8, 1992, Solomon filed a "Motion to Suppress Evidence". On July 19, 1993, a contradictory hearing was held on defendant's motion.
