Donald Hellmers as tutor of his minor children filed suit against Mr. Charles Verderame, Travelers Insurance Company, and other defendants. Those suits stem from a prior lawsuit in which Donald Hellmers filed suit against the State of Louisiana and its insurer, Travelers, for the wrongful death of Mrs. Phyllis Slavich Hellmers, his wife and the mother of his minor children.
