Defendant-Appellee Lenee Propios and co-defendant Louis Palea were charged, on April 26, 1991, with Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Second Degree in violation of Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 712-1242(1)(b)(i) (Supp.1992) and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia in violation of HRS § 329-43.5(a) (Supp.1992). The circuit court granted Propios's motion to suppress evidence and denied her motion to suppress statements.
