Acting pro se in the trial court, Romane Rickels filed a complaint against his ex-wife Patricia A. Herr seeking damages for her actions which ultimately resulted in Rickels' involuntary commitment to a state hospital. In response, Herr filed a motion for summary judgment which the trial court granted. Rickels, pro se, now appeals raising two issues for our review which we rephrase and consolidate into one: whether the trial court erred in entering summary...
