FACTS

Appellant Lori S. Auckenthaler ("Auckenthaler") and several other individuals were riding horses in an area north of Reno, known as Red Rock. The individuals were participating in the "field training" of dogs owned by co-respondent Steven Grundmeyer ("Grundmeyer"). Field training is an exercise where dogs are led through a prearranged course marked by the random placement
